ul.horizontal-blocks (used only by the footer's External Links and Meta lists) switches from wrapping flexbox to a 2-column grid, so both sections render as tidy 2×2 blocks at their current four items each. Falls back to a single column under 600px.

Ayu's editor fg (#bfbdb6) is too dim for body text; use #fff in dark
mode for high contrast. Headings follow --fg. The --editor-fg palette
variable keeps the authentic ayu value.
