Parked 2026-10-04 so the modem call demo goes first.

  • Order a few EVQWJN007 trackballs (AliExpress, ~$1 each); check the ball is translucent if the LEDs matter
  • Review and merge #1, then order the board via hardware/pcb/keeb-test/export-fab.sh (ENIG + top-side PCBA; check part rotations in JLC's preview)
  • Fit check: does the mechanism seat over the 0.6 mm switch and the LEDs?
  • Firmware: map the NE/NW/SE/SW outputs to directions

Correction: #1 is already merged to main (208a06c). Remaining: order the board from main via hardware/pcb/keeb-test/export-fab.sh, fit check, firmware mapping.
